Aachen, March 11, 2024 - WED+ Unternehmensberatung GmbH is expanding its management team: Moritz Schumacher (44) joins Mike Degen on the management board with immediate effect. At the same time, WED+ is expanding its range of services to include non-insolvency and pre-insolvency restructuring consulting. WED+ specializes in advising and managing companies in special situations, with a previous focus on consulting and interim management in insolvency proceedings. Schumacher has many years of international experience in restructuring, M&A and corporate development. With this new addition, WED+ is strengthening its expertise in restructuring consulting and the support of corporate finance processes.

Moritz Schumacher began his career as a consultant at McKinsey. Most recently, as a Member of the Executive Board of the investment company Schauenburg International, the business administration graduate was responsible for international M&A and the strategic business development of portfolio companies. Prior to this, he was responsible for projects focusing on M&A, restructuring and business development at well-known companies such as Siemens, Vodafone and Tank & Rast as well as at international investment companies. Through his activities, Schumacher gained experience in a wide range of industries, e.g. mechanical engineering, automation, healthcare, infrastructure and retail.
